Job summary

TJ Maxx, part of the TJX Companies family, is seeking a front-end leader to promote an outstanding customer experience in our Portland store. You will supervise Associates, support POS coverage, and mentor staff to deliver efficient service and maintain store standards.

You will train teams on loyalty programs, handle customer concerns promptly, and collaborate with management to meet store targets while ensuring compliance with policies and safety guidelines.

• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking and working effectively with peers and supervisors.
• Ability to train others and lead front-end operations.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Addresses customer concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
• Promotes loyalty programs and accessibility of services
• Trains and mentors Associates on front-end principles and POS coverage
• Ensures safety and compliance with labor laws and store policies
• Communicates priorities clearly to Management and staff
• Assists in coordinating breaks and POS coverage as needed
• Maintains a clean, organized store environment
