Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Ann Arbor seeks an on-site Retail Associate to deliver an excellent customer experience, promote loyalty programs, and support store operations.

You will mentor Associates, manage POS coverage, and help achieve shrink reduction goals while upholding safety and policy standards. Applicants should have 1 year of retail experience and at least 6 months in a leadership role, with a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Trains and coaches Associates on personalizing the customer experience while promoting loyalty programs
• Assigns registers and coordinates breaks for all Associates
• Addresses customer concerns promptly and ensures a positive customer experience
• Promotes safety and adherence to store policies and labor laws
• Communicates priorities to management and Associates and provides progress updates
• Supports management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness
