Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Fremont, CA, seeks a capable front-of-store leader to promote an excellent customer experience and oversee a team of Associates. You will train staff, coordinate POS coverage, and maintain a welcoming store environment across shifts.

You will mentor Associates, promote loyalty programs, and ensure safety and policy compliance while delivering friendly, efficient service to shoppers. This role requires flexibility for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Promotes an excellent customer experience and oversees a team of Associates at front of store
• Leads by example by engaging with customers and maintaining a clean, organized store
• Trains and coaches Associates on front-end principles and loyalty programs
• Manages register assignment, POS coverage, and breaks for Associates
• Addresses customer concerns promptly and ensures a positive experience
• Ensures adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Supports store shrink reduction goals and safety initiatives
