Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Team Leader to direct department associates in daily operations including merchandising, inventory control, pricing, stocking and customer service. The role supports sales goals, staffing, and staff development under GSM/DM supervision.

The position emphasizes product knowledge, event coordination, pricing integrity, and delivering a legendary customer experience with a service-oriented team.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 2 to 4 years in Retail Sales Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions and percentages; read and analyze reports; present information; conduct meetings.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily direction to associates in the department.
• Maintain plan-o-grams and pricing as directed by Corporate Office.
• Staff the department with service-oriented associates and participate in interviews.
• Coach and motivate associates to promote positive customer relations and teamwork.
• Resolve customer and associate opportunities with GSM/DM and HR Manager.
• Provide a legendary customer experience by assisting customers in buying decisions.
