Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Team Leader to direct department associates in daily tasks, merchandising, pricing, and inventory management. The role emphasizes delivering a legendary customer experience and supporting department goals under GSM/DM supervision.

You will assist with staffing, coaching, training, and performance feedback, while ensuring product knowledge and effective communication with customers and staff across the department.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 to 4 years in Retail Sales.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily direction to department associates and ensure customer service excellence.
• Support achievement of departmental sales, gross margin, inventory shrinkage and payroll goals.
• Prepare to-do / task lists and execute merchandising directives and plan-o-grams.
• Maintain pricing, UPC integrity, and proper displays for advertised items.
• Assist in staffing, interviewing, training, scheduling, and performance input for team members.
• Resolve customer and associate issues with management guidance.
• Provide a legendary customer experience by understanding needs and making product recommendations.
