Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Team Leader to manage daily activities in a department, guide associates, and maintain high service standards. You will coordinate staffing, training, and performance feedback while executing merchandising plans and events.

Your role emphasizes strong customer focus, product knowledge, and teamwork to deliver exceptional shopping experiences and meet store targets in a fast-paced outdoor retailer environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of retail sales experience.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supports GSM/DM in achieving departmental sales, gross margin, inventory shrinkage and payroll goals.
• Provides daily direction to department associates.
• Prepares to-do / task lists.
• Executes merchandising directives and maintains plan-o-grams as set by Corporate.
• Ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for customers.
• Assists GSM/DM and HR to staff the department; participates in interviewing, training and scheduling; coaches associates.
