Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of West Virginia LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. The role involves assisting customers, processing sales, stocking merchandise, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

You will unload trucks, help with replenishment, and ensure customer satisfaction through friendly service and efficient checkout. Part-time status with opportunities for growth is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Provide a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
