Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of West Virginia LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions, and help stock merchandise while maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

The role emphasizes friendly customer interactions, teamwork with store leaders, and physical tasks such as lifting and stocking. This is a part-time position with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in customer service in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent standing and walking
• Strong customer service, organization, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and associates
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms, floors, and trash
• Other duties as assigned
