Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a store associate at our Wilmington Concord location. You will help customers, manage checkout, and engage shoppers with the Rewards program while supporting store operations.

The role involves stocking, unloading trucks, and ensuring products are in stock and well displayed. A friendly, team-oriented attitude and ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings are required.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and move around the store.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout with cash handling to standards.
• Promote Michaels Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll customers.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Maintain in-stock condition and store recovery; handle returns/go backs.
• Support shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and company policies.
• Interact positively with customers and colleagues; model Michaels values.
• Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production.
