Job summary

Michaels Stores in Wilmington, NC is seeking a store teammate to assist customers, manage checkout, and help with stocking and merchandising. You will engage shoppers, enroll customers in the Rewards program, and support omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS.

The role includes unloading trucks, stocking shelves, following planograms, and maintaining in-stock conditions while upholding safety and SOPs. Overnight and weekend shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollment.
• Assist with Omni channel processes: Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs).
• Maintain store recovery, replenishment, and in-stock conditions.
• Support shrink and safety programs; comply with SOPs and company policies.
• Interact professionally with customers and coworkers; uphold company values.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
