Job summary

The Michaels Stores team member role focuses on helping customers, locating products, and delivering a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining a well-merchandised, in-stock store while supporting omni-channel processes such as Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.

Applicants should have retail or customer service experience and be comfortable standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with cash handling to standards.
• Promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes like BOPIS and Ship From Store.
• Support stock, planograms, and merchandise recovery activities.
• Participate in unload, stocking, and store recovery to stay in-stock.
