Job summary

Michaels Stores in the United States is seeking a Store Associate to help customers, locate products, and provide solutions. You will deliver a fast, friendly checkout experience and perform cash handling to standards while assisting with truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining in-store merchandising.

The role supports omnichannel processes (BOPIS/SFS), rewards enrollment, and adherence to SOPs. Evening and weekend availability is often required in a retail environment.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to move throughout the store and lift items as needed.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Support shrink and safety programs and ensure store recovery and in-stock levels
