Job summary

Michaels Stores is seeking team members to deliver friendly customer service and a fast checkout experience in our Merrillville, IN location. You will assist customers, help locate products, and explain the benefits of rewards and private label cards.

Other responsibilities include maintaining stock, supporting BOPIS/SFS processes, following SOPs, and participating in framing sales. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift boxes as needed.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Maintain merchandise recovery and in-stock store conditions
• Perform In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; promote a positive image
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
