Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is hiring for a Store Associate at our JOHNSTOWN, PA location. You’ll deliver friendly customer service, help customers find products, and ensure a fast checkout experience.

You’ll participate in unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining in-stock conditions to meet our brand promises. You’ll engage customers with rewards programs, assist with BOPIS/SFS Omni-channel tasks, and follow SOPs while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; handle cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enroll them in Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on VOC survey opportunities.
• Assist with omni-channel processes, including BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain store recovery, handle returns and go-backs, and keep shelves in stock.
• Support shrink and safety programs and follow SOPs.
