Job summary

Michaels Store in Johnstown, PA is seeking a friendly Store Associate to help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions. You’ll deliver fast, accurate checkout and assist with Omni channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).

Responsibilities include stocking, merchandising, truck unloading, and maintaining store recovery. You’ll follow SOPs, support safety programs, and promote Michaels’ rewards and private label programs.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enroll them in Private Label Credit Cards
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes
• Maintain merchandise recovery and keep store in stock and well-merchandised
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; act as a role model
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
