Job summary

Big Lots is seeking motivated individuals to join our Stores as we provide essential products at great values to the communities we serve. As a Customer Service Associate you will greet customers, help with merchandise selection, complete transactions, and answer questions regarding the store and products.

Additional duties include unloading trucks, processing freight, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean, well-organized selling floor to ensure a great shopping experience for every customer.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles or retail environments is preferred.
• Ability to greet customers, assist with merchandise selection and complete transactions.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills to resolve customer questions.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and engage customers in a friendly manner.
• Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining a clean store environment.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system and handle funds securely.
• Support unloading freight and preparing merchandise for sale when needed.
