Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Associate in Hanover, MA to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will help unload trucks, stock merchandise, and keep the store well-merchandised and in stock.

Ideal candidates have retail or customer service experience, can work standing for long periods, and will engage customers in rewards programs while following SOPs and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Ability to process transactions accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience and maintain standards for cash handling.
• Engage customers on rewards program and enroll them in Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintain stock; manage returns/go back process and store recovery.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs and company policies.
