Job summary

Michaels is seeking a store team member at the BOS-HANOVER, MA location. You will help customers shop, process transactions, enroll customers in rewards and credit programs, and participate in Omni channel processes like BOPIS and SFS.

The role includes stocking, shelf maintenance, planograms, and engaging in a positive store culture. The position involves standing for long periods, lifting, and moving through a busy retail environment, with some evening/weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Educate customers on the VOC survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including BOPIS and SFS
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including return/go back process
• Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; ensure compliance with laws
• Interact positively, be a role model, and promote company values
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
• Other duties as assigned
