Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Store Leader at the Durham/Renaissance Parkway location to lead and coach a team of framers, drive custom framing sales, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will plan workloads with the Store Manager, manage inventory and safety, and support talent development for your team.

Regularly engage with customers, ensure SOP compliance, and uphold a positive store environment.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience is preferred.
• Retail management experience.
• Experience leading a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance and execution of store policies.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
• Lead the delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time by planning workload with Store Manager.
• Achieve KPIs and manage the framing team to meet KPI targets.
• Manage inventory, shrink, and safety programs.
