Job summary

Michaels Stores is hiring a Store Lead to coach a team of framers, build strong customer relationships, and drive custom framing sales. You will partner with the Store Manager to plan workloads, manage inventory, and uphold SOPs while delivering high-quality framing solutions.

The role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and operational excellence in a public retail setting with varied shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience is preferred.
• Retail management experience.
• Experience leading a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the framer team to build customer relationships and framing solutions.
• Drive custom framing sales and ensure on-time delivery of framing projects.
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding and coaching of new team members.
• Manage inventory, shrink, safety programs, and store operations.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) and engage in Omni channel processes.
