Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Garner, NC is seeking a Framing Manager to lead a team of skilled framers and drive custom framing sales while delivering outstanding customer service. You will plan workloads with the Store Manager, coach staff, and ensure adherence to SOPs and safety standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities include achieving KPIs, managing inventory and shrink, and supporting omni-channel processes.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience preferred.
• Retail management experience.
• Experience leading a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of framers focused on building customer relationships.
• Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating framing solutions.
• Ensure SOPs and company programs are followed; hold team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Develop and coach selling behaviors; plan workload with Store Manager and meet KPIs.
• Review sales and production workload; manage inventory and shrink controls; participate in safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) and participate in interviewing, onboarding and training of new team members.
• Collaborate with MODs on framing expectations and daily operations; support omni-channel processes.
• Assist with truck unloading and stocking; ensure safety and store standards.
