Job summary

Eleven Western Builders, Inc. is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead a team of subcontractors on retail projects across California.

You will manage field crews and EWB personnel, coordinate with clients and inspectors, and ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a superintendent, 3+ years in retail/hospitality, strong math and planning skills, and proficiency with StruXure and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a Superintendent role required.
• 3+ years experience building/remodeling in retail, hospitality, fuel stations, fast-food and related areas.
• Proficient in math: area, take-offs, quantities.
• Read construction documents and understand methods.
• Computer skills: Outlook, Excel, MS Project, Word.
• StruXure experience is a plus.
• CA Driver’s License with clean history; background check.
• OSHA 10 and CPR certification is a plus.
• Travel across California and other project locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead subcontractors and EWB personnel to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Use StruXure to document progress and send daily reports to Project Team.
• Read job plans and inspect progress during job walks; coordinate with subs.
• Conduct daily meetings with clients, EWB team, and inspectors.
• Coordinate site construction activities and supervise field personnel up to ~140 per day.
• Ensure safety and compliance; manage RFIs and change orders as needed.
