Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a Superintendent role required
• 3+ years experience building/remodeling in retail, hospitality, fuel stations, open store remodels, fast food in the last 5 years
• Proficient in math, including take-off materials
• Able to read construction documents and knowledgeable in construction methods
• Computer skills: MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, MS Project, Word); ProCore is a plus
• Possession of CA Driver’s License, good driving history, dependable transportation; pass a background check
• OSHA 10 and CPR certification a plus
• Willing and able to travel extensively throughout California and other project locations; frequent overnight travel
• Flexible schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime
• Able to perform lifting up to 50 pounds and other physical tasks

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of subcontractors and EWB personnel from start to finish with precision and documentation
• Use ProCore to document progress and send daily reports to the Project Team
• Read job plans 2x daily and inspect progress during site walks; coordinate with Sub-Contractors
• Conduct daily meetings with retail clients, EWB team and inspectors
• Coordinate site activities and supervise field personnel (up to ~140 per day)
• Show project on-time and within budget for ~$5-million+ jobs
• Submit RFIs and RFI responses to identify scope changes and potential adjustments
