Eleven Western Builders, Inc. is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead a team of subcontractors and EWB personnel from project start to finish with precision and thorough documentation.

The role focuses on completing jobs on schedule and within budget in retail, hospitality and related sectors across California and the western United States. You will drive daily progress, coordinate safety, meetings, inspections, and RFIs, while maintaining high craftsmanship and client relations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a Superintendent role.
• 3+ years experience building/remodeling in retail, hospitality, fuel stations, open store remodels, or fast food; recent within 5 years.
• Proficient in math: adding, subtracting, multiplication, division; take-off materials.
• Able to read construction documents and understand construction methods.
• MS Office proficiency (Outlook, Excel, MS Project, Word).
• StruXure experience is a plus.
• CA Driver’s license with good driving history; pass a background check.
• OSHA 10 and CPR certification a plus.
• Willing to travel across California and other project locations; overnight stays.
• Flexible schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends, extended hours.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of subcontractors and EWB personnel from start to finish with precision and documentation.
• Document progress using StruXure; send daily reports to Project Team.
• Coordinate site activities and supervise field personnel (up to ~140 per day).
• Read job plans twice daily and inspect progress; schedule with Sub-Contractors.
• Conduct daily meetings with retail clients, EWB team and inspectors.
• Ensure safety and quality, stay on schedule and within budget.
