Eleven Western Builders, Inc. is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead a team of subcontractors and EWB personnel from start to finish, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget while maintaining quality and compliance.

The role requires 5+ years in superintendent roles, travel across California, strong organizational and safety focus, and the ability to manage complex retail/remodel projects using StruXure and MS Office. Competitive wages and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a Superintendent role required
• 3+ years building/remodeling in retail/hospitality/fuel stations/open store remodels; last 5 years
• Proficient in math, including take-off materials
• Able to read construction documents and knowledge of construction methods
• Computer skills: Outlook, Excel, Microsoft Project, Word
• Intermediate proficiency with StruXure is a plus
• Possession of a CA Driver’s License, good driving history, and dependable transportation
• Current OSHA 10 and CPR certification a plus
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout California and other project locations
• Flexible schedules including early mornings/evenings/weekends/extended hours
• Ability to perform physical tasks up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of subcontractors and EWB personnel from start to finish with precision and documentation
• Document progress and send daily reports to Project Team using StruXure
• Read job plans 2x daily and inspect progress, coordinating with Sub-Contractors
• Conduct daily meetings with retail clients, EWB team and inspectors
• Supervise site activities (up to ~140 per day)
• Successfully run a project of ~$5-million plus on schedule and within budget
• Create, submit and track RFIs and change orders (15-500)
• Maintain safety and regulatory compliance to keep sites accident free
• Complete a clean project with minimal loose ends (<2)
