Micro Center, Inc. is seeking self-motivated Retail Computer Technicians to join our Denver-based team. Starting at $18.81/hr with incentives to raise hourly rates to $35/hr, the role blends service-counter consultations with in-house diagnostics and repairs.

Work includes assisting customers, recommending service options, and building custom computers. Candidates should have a high school diploma and relevant certifications or the ability to certify within 90 days; on-site shifts with flexible

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with one-year related computer service repair or technical customer service experience preferred.
• CompTIA A+ certification or Apple ACMT/ACiT certifications, or ability to be certified within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person consultations and troubleshooting to customers at the service counter on computers and related products.
• Recommend service solutions including data backups, anti-virus, extended warranties, and subscriptions.
• Identify and diagnose hardware or software problems on desktops, laptops, phones, TVs, and monitors.
• Assemble custom computers for BYO sales.
• Maintain up-to-date technical and vendor certifications and product knowledge.
• Handle cash till, customer transactions, and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Provide timely updates to customers regarding their service event via face-to-face, phone, text, and email.
