Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Team Member in Ventura, CA to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate products, and process fast, accurate checkouts. You will participate in stocking, merchandising, and Omni-channel tasks while upholding store standards and safety guidelines.

The role emphasizes customer engagement, rewards enrollment, and adherence to company policies within a climate-controlled retail setting.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
• Cash handling to standards
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and go-backs
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; interact positively with customers and teammates
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
• Other duties as assigned
