Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a retail team member in California to assist customers, manage checkout, and participate in store operations. The role involves helping customers find products, enrolling them in Rewards and Private Label programs, and supporting omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS.

Qualifications

• U.S. federal, state, and local job requirements compliance.
• Candidates must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards; enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes: Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance; manage returns/go backs.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and company policies.
• Interact respectfully; reflect company values and be a role model.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
