Job summary

Woodforest National Bank in Kent, OH is seeking a Banker II to serve as frontline ambassador delivering the Woodforest Experience as you build and grow retail customer relationships through exceptional service and proactive product recommendations.

You will work to meet branch sales goals, support digital banking tools, and uphold our Core Values of Ownership, Service, Community, and Integrity in every interaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant retail sales and/or customer service experience.
• In-store retail banking experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to accept coaching and feedback to improve performance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible or extended hours based on retail branch needs.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of delivering strong retail performance by identifying customer needs and recommending banking solutions.
• Achieve individual sales goals through proactive conversations, referrals, and marketing outreach.
• Resolve customer inquiries at first contact with internal partners as needed.
• Maintain accurate transaction processing, account opening, and policy compliance.
• Explain complex banking solutions in simple terms and maintain a consistent Woodforest Experience.
