Job summary

Woodforest National Bank seeks a Banker to serve as a frontline ambassador, delivering the Woodforest Experience and growing retail customer relationships through exceptional service and proactive marketing of banking products.

The role emphasizes ownership, service, community, and integrity in every interaction. You will assist with deposits, accounts, and digital tools while complying with policies in a fast-paced branch setting, including local travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant retail sales and/or customer service experience.
• In-store retail banking experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to accept coaching and feedback to improve performance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible or extended hours based on retail branch needs.

Responsibilities

• Take personal responsibility for delivering strong retail performance by identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate banking solutions.
• Act with accountability in achieving individual sales goals through proactive conversations, referrals, and marketing outreach both inside and outside the branch.
• Demonstrate ownership in resolving customer inquiries or concerns at the first point of contact, utilizing internal partners as needed to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain operational excellence through accurate transaction processing, account opening, and consistent adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to explain complex solutions in a simple to understand way.
