Job summary

Truist is hiring a Universal Banker in the United States West Virginia region to provide timely client transactions, accurate records, and adept handling of all monies. You will help clients with everyday banking needs, promote digital solutions, and assist with outbound outreach while aligning with IRM practices.

The role requires a high school diploma, teller or client service experience, and strong communication skills. Regular hours apply with some travel and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years teller, cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, incl. Microsoft Office.
• Travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and weekend/extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience with courteous interaction and accurate, thorough handling of transactions.
• Educate clients on digital self-service options (ATMs, Online/Mobile banking).
• Support sales by outbound client outreach and identifying needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and training.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and issue resolution.
