Job summary

Truist in the United States is seeking a Universal Banker who will deliver high-quality client service and handle a range of banking transactions. You will educate clients on digital solutions and support sales efforts, while aligning with IRM practices to meet clients’ needs.

The role requires flexibility for travel, weekend hours, and participation in leadership routines. A high school diploma and banking experience are preferred, with benefits including time off and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years teller/cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office).
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with travel and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by handling transactions and identifying needs.
• Educate clients on digital and self-service banking options.
• Support sales through outbound calls and client referrals.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attend training to expand product knowledge and skills.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and issue resolution.
