Job summary

Truist is seeking a Universal Banker to provide a consistent client experience and handle both standard and complex transactions at a branch in the United States. The role emphasizes building client relationships, guiding customers through digital banking tools, and supporting branch sales opportunities.

The position requires high school education, 2+ years in teller/service roles, strong communication, and willingness to travel or work varied hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs; weekends/extended hours may be required.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and banking software.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience through courteous conversation and transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions (ATMs, online and mobile banking).
• Support sales by outbound calls and identifying client needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attend training to advance product knowledge and compliance.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and issue resolution.
