Job summary

Woodforest National Bank is seeking a Banker II to serve as a frontline ambassador, building relationships through exceptional service and proactive marketing of banking products. You will support branch goals while Upholding Woodforest's Core Values in every customer interaction.

You will handle teller duties, open deposit accounts, and guide customers through digital tools, delivering personal, compliant service in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant retail sales and/or customer service experience.
• Prior in-store retail banking experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to accept coaching and feedback.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible or extended hours based on retail branch needs.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and recommend banking solutions.
• Achieve individual sales goals through referrals and marketing outreach.
• Resolve customer inquiries at first point of contact with internal partners as needed.
• Maintain operational excellence with accurate transactions and account openings.
• Explain complex banking solutions in simple terms.
