Job summary

Woodforest National Bank in Champaign, IL is seeking a full-time Banker to be a frontline ambassador, delivering the Woodforest Experience and building retail relationships through exceptional service. You will identify customer needs, promote banking solutions, and execute daily operations with accuracy and integrity.

You will explain products clearly, support digital banking tools, and participate in community outreach while upholding policies and regulatory requirements in a fast-paced branch

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of retail sales or customer service experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible or extended hours based on retail branch needs.

Responsibilities

• Take personal responsibility for delivering strong retail performance by identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate banking solutions.
• Act with accountability in achieving individual sales goals through proactive conversations, referrals, and marketing outreach both inside and outside the branch.
• Demonstrate ownership in resolving customer inquiries or concerns at the first point of contact, utilizing internal partners as needed to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain operational excellence through accurate transaction processing, account opening, and consistent adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to explain complex solutions in a simple to understand way.
