Job summary

Michaels in Deptford, NJ is seeking store team members to assist customers, manage checkout, and support in-store merchandising. You will help shoppers locate products, enroll them in the Rewards program, and participate in truck unloading and stocking activities.

This role involves standing for long periods, lifting merchandise, and performing store recovery to ensure a well-merchandised, in-stock store. A customer-service mindset and reliable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift/move merchandise as needed.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience and handle cash to standards.
• Promote Michaels Rewards program and enroll customers in Private Label Credit Card.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining planograms (POGs).
• Support store recovery, returns, and go-back processes to keep shelves in-stock.
• Participate in SISO and AD set duties; support shrink and safety programs.
