Job summary

Family Dollar in Miami, FL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run store operations and deliver outstanding customer service. You will assist with day-to-day activities, organize merchandise, and support payroll, scheduling, and cash handling while training and guiding Store Associates.

You will contribute to a safe, friendly environment, adhere to policies, and help maintain stockroom and sales floor standards. This role is full-time and on-site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, ability to read and interpret directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks described.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Provide friendly customer service and address questions or concerns.
• Organize, transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Support payroll, scheduling, and cash handling duties.
• Train and develop Store Associates and supervise a positive environment.
