Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Florida LLC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our West Palm Beach location.

You will assist with day-to-day store activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and participate in opening/closing procedures while ensuring compliance with company policies.

This role offers opportunities to lead associates, maintain a well‑stocked store, and contribute to a positive, safe shopping environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness and maintain safety guidelines.
