Job summary

Daily Thread is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to drive sales and deliver a standout customer experience across our retail locations. You will support store strategy, oversee opening/closing, inventory, merchandising, and coaching, while partnering with the Store Manager to develop a high‑performing team.

You will lead by example with strong communication, tech proficiency, and a passion for coaching, training, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Prior retail management experience with 1+ year in Assistant Manager duties.
• Results-oriented with a strong sales focus and coaching ability.
• Positive, high-energy, friendly personality and proactive customer engagement.
• Strong verbal and written communication for customers and partners.
• Proficient with store tech including POS, Word, Excel, and email.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work on ladders or stairs when merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Exceed sales goals and coach the team to improve performance.
• Devise and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue and customer experience.
• Capture client information and manage CRM records accurately.
• Address customer needs and objections with effective problem-solving.
• Maintain merchandising standards and stockroom organization.
• Oversee housekeeping and visuals, and enforce loss-prevention policies.
• Operate POS, CRM and inventory systems to support daily operations.
• Assist Store Manager with coaching, training, and onboarding of new staff.
• Collaborate in recruitment and interviewing to build the team.
