Daily Thread in New York seeks an Assistant Store Manager to drive sales and create an exceptional customer experience across our stores. You will help shape store strategy, align the team with company values, and lead opening/closing, inventory, and visual merchandising.

You will coach and mentor staff, recruit and interview new team members, and model strong sales techniques while meeting KPIs and delivering a high-energy, engaging shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Prior retail management experience with a focus on sales.
• Ability to coach and develop frontline staff toward targets.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient with store tech: POS, MS Word/Excel, email.

Responsibilities

• Exceed personal and store sales goals and develop sales skills in the team.
• Devise and implement sales strategies to optimize revenue and customer experience.
• Capture and manage client information (phone, email, address).
• Address customer needs and objections effectively.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and store layout understanding.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and visual merchandising.
• Use POS, CRM, and inventory tools proficiently.
• Enforce loss prevention measures.
• Follow operational policies and procedures.
• Assist Store Manager in coaching and mentoring employees.
• Assist in recruitment and onboarding processes.
