Daily Thread in Richmond, VA seeks an Assistant Store Manager to drive sales and create a delightful customer experience on the retail floor. You will partner with the Store Manager to execute store strategies, oversee opening/closing, inventory, and merchandising while mentoring teammates to meet store objectives.

The role emphasizes a strong sales focus, leadership presence, and effective use of POS and CRM systems. 32–40 hours per week with opportunities to grow within the team.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a retail team and driving sales targets.
• Strong customer service focus with ability to coach staff.
• Proficiency with POS systems and basic software tools.

Responsibilities

• Exceed personal and store sales goals and develop sales skills of the team.
• Devise and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue and KPIs.
• Capture client information (phone, email, address) and maintain CRM records.
• Identify customer needs and address objections with effective solutions.
• Demonstrate store product knowledge, pricing, floor and stockroom layouts.
• Maintain housekeeping and visual merchandising standards; use POS and inventory tools.
• Follow loss prevention policies and store procedures.
• Assist Store Manager in coaching and mentoring employees.
• Participate in recruiting and onboarding of new staff.
