The Salvation Army USA is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager for our Phoenix Main Thrift Store. You will work closely with the Store Manager to drive daily operations, coach staff, and ensure excellent customer and donor experiences.

This full-time role requires retail management experience, POS/cash handling skills, and a strong commitment to community service. A valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of Retail Management/Supervisory experience.
• Ability to accurately handle POS/Cash Register operations and cash transactions.
• Must hold a valid Driver's license and proof of insurance.
• Must pass background check, including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, staff, customers and donors.

Responsabilités

• Take active role with Store Manager in day-to-day store operations.
• Manage day-to-day operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Provide coaching, training and development to store employees.
• Ensure customer/donor needs are met and relations maintained.
• Communicate personnel issues with Management; may issue warnings and evaluations.
• Maintain ARC merchandising standards and adequate inventory levels.
• Support BRP and ensure daily processing goals are met.
• Safeguard cash and banking of receipts per ARCC policy.
• Assist in ensuring safety measures and loss prevention.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management and Retail Directors.
