Job summary

The Salvation Army in Tucson operates a thrift store and is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager in daily operations. The role focuses on coaching staff, ensuring excellent customer and donor service, and maintaining merchandise standards.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years retail management/supervisory experience.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license with proof of insurance.
• Must pass background check including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in day-to-day store operations.
• Provide coaching, training, and development to store employees.
• Maintain strong Customer/Donor/Community relations and resolve complaints.
• Ensure adequate inventory levels and ARC merchandising standards.
• Support loss prevention and safety measures in line with ARC policy.
