Job summary

POP MART is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for the Great Lakes Mall location to lead the Retail team and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will partner with the Store Manager to drive sales, coach a high-performing team, and oversee daily operations, inventory, merchandising, and store performance while acting as Manager on Duty when needed.

The role requires at least 2 years of retail leadership, a passion for pop culture and collectibles, strong leadership and communication

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail leadership experience in a supervisory or management role.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing retail teams.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, customer experience, and business performance metrics.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Interest in designer toys, collectibles, art, anime, gaming, fashion, or pop culture is highly valued.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, coach, develop, and retain a high-performing team in partnership with the Store Manager.
• Lead Brand Associates and Sales Leads through coaching, feedback, and recognition.
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and customer-first culture reflecting POP MART values.
• Serve as Manager on Duty, making operational and customer service decisions when the Store Manager is unavailable.
• Support onboarding, training, and performance development of new team members.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by leading from the sales floor and setting the standard for engagement.
• Drive sales performance, KPIs, and inventory accuracy in collaboration with the Store Manager.
• Oversee daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash management, safety, and compliance.
• Execute visual merchandising standards, planograms, and seasonal displays in-store.
• Build excitement within the local collector community and promote POP MART’s brand experiences.
