Job summary

FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, develop staff, and drive customer satisfaction. You will partner with the Store Manager to meet financial goals and manage customer relations in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers an hourly wage of $17.40–$20.40 plus commission and a bonus based on store performance. Benefits include health options, Earned Wage Access, vacation time, 401k, tuition reimbursement, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others.
• Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Assistant Store Managers will work 40+ hours a week.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing customer issues.
• Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers so their development meets the prescribed FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through company-prescribed channels.
• Opens and closes the store, including counting cash drawers and merchandise, ensuring asset protection.
• Ensures asset protection through inventory control and procedures.
• Administer processes within the store, including inventory, loan management, merchandising, and reporting.
• Evaluate the store's financial statements and drive profitability via communication and goal setting.
• Ensure operating standards meet FirstCash standards.
• Monitor loan qualification and buying processes for value and integrity of loans issued.
• Complete assigned tasks and training; communicate store mission and profit objectives.
