FirstCash is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in the United States to oversee daily store operations and drive profitability, partnering with the Store Manager to lead a team, recruit, and retain top talent. The role emphasizes customer relations, asset protection, and achieving financial goals in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of management/3rd key experience.
• Ability to lead and develop store employees.
• Retail jewelry/tools/electronics experience is a plus.
• Willing to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends.
• Cash handling experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through prescribed channels.
• Open and close the store, count cash, protect assets and ensure procedures are followed.
• Ensure asset protection through inventory control and safe operations.
• Administer store processes including inventory, loans, merchandising, systems, and reporting.
• Evaluate store financials and drive profitability with clear goals.
• Maintain operating standards to meet FirstCash requirements.
• Monitor loan qualifications to ensure value and integrity of loans issued.
• Complete assigned tasks and training for self-development as requested.
• Communicate clearly with employees about mission and profit objectives.
