Job summary

FirstCash is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations and drive customer satisfaction. You will work with the Store Manager to supervise staff, recruit talent, and maximize financial performance in a busy retail environment.

This role offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity and a store-performance bonus. Responsibilities include loan management, inventory control, and ensuring adherence to company standards across shifts.

Qualifications

Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting).
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others.
Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.

Responsibilities

Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers professionally and addressing issues.
Monitor and assist in training Pawnbrokers to FirstCash standards.
Recruit top talent through company channels.
Open and close the store, count cash drawers and merchandise, protect assets.
Ensure asset protection through inventory control and procedures.
Manage store processes including inventory, loans, merchandising, systems, and reporting.
Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability.
Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to maintain value and integrity.
Communicate with employees to align with mission and objectives.
Remain up-to-date on product knowledge and act as manager on duty when needed.
