J.Crew Group (JCG) is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our store leadership team. You will drive profitability through genuine customer connections, brand loyalty, and community engagement, while coaching the sales team for peak performance.

You’ll work with the leadership group to adapt strategies and ensure smooth operations as needed. You’ll support the Store Director and ASM in recruiting, training, and developing talent, and you’ll help ensure best-in-class service with strong teamwork

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail management experience.
• Passion for our brand, customers, and teams.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Director and Associate Store Manager to drive profitability and brand connection.
• Own designated division of responsibility (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology with accountability.
• Assist with recruiting, training and development.
• Collaborate with leadership to create a collaborative working environment.
• Lead sessions to boost product knowledge and authentic customer connection.
• Develop community engagement and loyalty through events.
