J.Crew Group (JCG) is seeking an Assistant Manager to join the leadership team. You will drive profitability through genuine customer connections, brand loyalty, and community engagement.

You will coach the sales team and collaborate with the leadership team to adapt strategies for business success and smooth operational support. You will support profitability, own responsibilities across divisions, and help recruit and develop staff while ensuring exceptional customer service.

Qualifikationen

• 1-2 years of retail management experience with a similar scope.
• Passionately support our brand, customers, and teams.
• Stay up to date with current fashion trends and industry developments.
• Embrace teamwork, flexibility, and courtesy while executing tasks.
• Innovate and champion new ideas while navigating uncertainty, showing strong problem solving.
• Have scheduling flexibility, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must bend, reach, stretch for product and lift/move up to 40 pounds (18 kg).

• Support the Store Director & Associate Store Manager to impact business results and profitability.
• Own your division (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Manage store operations, systems and technology with accountability.
• Assist with recruiting, training and development as needed.
• Collaborate with leadership to create a collaborative working environment for all associates.
• Ensure the team exceeds goals and delivers best-in-class customer service.
• Lead product knowledge sessions to boost authentic customer connection.
• Develop innovative community engagement and loyalty events.
• Step into various roles on the sales floor when needed.
