J.Crew Group (JCG) is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our leadership team. You will drive profitability and brand loyalty through strong customer connections, coaching the sales team, and collaborating with leaders to implement effective strategies for store success and seamless operations.

You will support recruiting, training, and development, ensuring a high-performing team while maintaining exceptional customer service and store standards across shifts.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail management experience.
• Passion for our brand, customers and teams.
• Stay up to date with fashion trends.
• Embrace teamwork, flexibility and courtesy.
• Innovate and solve problems in uncertainty.
• Scheduling flexibility, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to bend, reach, and lift at least 40 pounds (18 kg).

Responsabilités

• Support the Store Director & Associate Store Manager to drive profitability through brand connections and loyalty.
• Own your designated division (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology with accountability.
• Assist recruiting, training and development as needed.
• Foster a collaborative environment with the leadership team.
• Ensure the team exceeds goals and delivers best-in-class service.
• Lead product knowledge sessions to elevate customer connections.
• Create community engagement and loyalty through events.
• Step into various sales floor roles when needed.
